I set off so determined to keep a regular blog going.. somehow it has been 2 months since our last post already! Time sure flies

Since our last post we have had another foal born, being our delightful girl Shelby, we established our sister Stud 'Keyara Park' our oldest finished his first year of school, we have qualified for Sydney Royal 2023, come up with new Clydesdale Adventures that have been keeping us super busy, added 2 new fillies to our team, had the best Christmas break & New Year's and now here we are!

I should be more forgiving on myself, it has been the silly season and we all need some time off. But new year = more blogs!

The last I mentioned was a video on doing mane rolls.. Call it anxiety.. but have you ever heard yourself talking on film.. lordy haha that has happened to me anyway so I am stalling  whoops.
I will be brave and get one out to you all I promise.
We are running our 2nd Show Preparation Work Shop this weekend so will get Matt to film it.

We have been very busy making lots of Heavy Horse Decorations as Show season approaches. I am loving some of the colour combinations you are requesting.

Now we sit down & work out our calendar of events for 2023!
It all startrs with a massive show 'The National Heavy Horse Festival' held at Werribee Park on the 21st & 22nd January.
It is an amazing event & shouldn't be missed. Personally, we will be there for the weekend, showing horses & also there with a trade stand, so if you are around (mainly the Sunday) we will be manning our trade stand ready for a chat! Actually, I haven't received confirmation on that yet, I must follow that up! But that's the plan anyway.
It is great that the event is back after the last few years of chaos.

I can currently hear the tink tinking, Matthew is out in his Blacksmithing shed making a set of shoes for Chook.
As we start to bring all of the horses (and ourselves) back into work, with lots of exciting things planned for 2023 and beyond.

Its always such a hard thing getting your mojo back, getting back into the swing of things! Especially after time off, it is nice being lazy sometimes haha but can't sit on our bums any longer! With foals to train, youngsters to start breaking in, shows to travel to + the rest!

Some exciting news is the return of our Sandy Creek Albert!!
He has been interstate seeing some lovely ladies at Sarjon Park Clydesdales, we have missed seeing that beautiful boy in our paddock.
Blackwatch our other stallion, he is still in SA also seeing some lovely mares and having the best time.

With busy times ahead, I should have plenty to chat about from the Shows, Adventures, Training & our lives in general!

Best I go out and work some horses now myself.
Until next time (not in another 2 months THIS TIME HAHA!)
